Oct 21, 2014  Hello, I have bought my Asus Rog G550Jk-ch234H ( or smth like that ) today, and due to crappy OS Win8, i formatted the drive and installed a fresh Win7 Ultimate. The thing is, i didnt thought of trying the backlit keyboard before i formatted. So the fresh Win7, it was really hard to find drivers for it since asus only released win8 ones and i had hard time finding propper drivers for me to. hello all, i bought a windows 8 laptop and downgraded it to windows 7. everything is working perfectly except for the usb 3.0 ports. this laptop comes with 5 usb ports but 3 of them and 3.0 ports which leaves me with only 2 functioning ports. msi does not support win7 on this laptop so i am forced to find these drivers myself, but i have not had any luck so far. perhaps someone else can help me. it is a msi gx70-3be. i have tried amd's chipset drivers which have not helped at all. these usb ports do work automatically without drivers on windows 8 if it makes a difference.
edit: incase there is any confusion, these ports require a host controller.
